The process is actually a simple one. We do realize that not companies are the same and many require special needs. Still, the process is generally the same. To get things rolling, you must first speak with a customer representative to set an appointment. At that time we ask a basic set of questions that will help your experience with us go as smoothly as possible (Please see the section below on a basic set of questions that may be asked so that you may be prepared). Once we have determined the base set of questions, we will have determined if the items to be recycled are to be dropped off or if we are going to pick those items up from your location. In either event those items will be processed at our facility. Once we have received those items, they will be sorted according to the type of item and the condition of the item. In almost all cases, it is generally agreed upon that electronic items be reused rather than broken down right away to be used as raw materials. While recycling items for precious materials is a great way to save the earth's resources, it still takes quite a bit of time and energy to reclaim those materials. Reuse still remains the best option for saving energy. Eventually there will come a time where that item has become either inoperative or obsolete. It is at that time we will sort those items to de-manufacture to reclaim the materials. Many ask 'Where will my items be re-used?'. Many of us find that an item no longer suits our needs. While that may certainly be the case, may people that are limited by budget or income may now be able to afford a computer that was once out of reach for them. In many cases an item that is thought to be inadequate for one user may still be adequate for another user.
